The inceptions of Sanlorenzo go back to 1958, when Italian yacht developer Giovanni Jannetti established the Cantiere Navali San Lorenzo shipyard in Viareggio, Italy. The organization's history ranges crosswise over 50 years and amid that time the brand has picked up a solid notoriety for quality, dependability and immortal style. Having delivered more than 600 yachts, the organization today positions second in the 2015 Global Order Book, which records the world's main 10 superyacht manufacturers.

Presently possessed by Italian representative Massimo Perotti, who turned into a greater part shareholder in the shipyard in 2005, the organization works two shipyards in Ameglia and Viareggio. The Ameglia yard offers bespoke fiberglass planing and semi-removal engine yachts from 76ft to 118ft, and fiberglass superyachts from 92ft to 126ft in composite material. The Viareggio yard produces combination and steel planing, semi-uprooting and dislodging superyachts from 40m to 60m or more. Every yacht accompanies its own particular remarkable format and stylistic theme, and is 'Made to Measure' for customers who request only the best. Sanlorenzo has as of late extended its foot shaped impression in China and Asia by going into two new associations; one with Sundiro Holdings in China, the other with Simpson Marine Ltd.
